ORDERING POLICY
Once you have submitted your order online, you will immediately receive a confirmation email. Within 48-72 hours you will receive a second email containing product lead-times and delivery approximate dates.The carrier will contact you 24h prior to delivery to schedule the time with you. 
SALES TAX 
The Kitchen Depot collects the appropriate sales tax based on your province or territory. The tax amount will be displayed on the checkout section of the website.
PASSAGE OF OWNERSHIP 
Passage of title (or transfer of ownership) on the merchandise will occur once you receive the merchandise.
PAYMENT OPTIONS 
All prices on this site are in Canadian dollars. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Amex and debit cards. Your credit or debit card will be charged once you place the order. We require a full payment because we place orders with the manufacturers on your behalf. Once we order the items, we are often unable to cancel or must return and pay a restocking fee. WARRANTY
All Maple Wood Cabinets are covered by 1 year  manufacturer's warranty, the hardware on cabinets has a lifetime warranty. General warranty information for each manufacturer might be obtained directly from The Kitchen Depot. ORDER STATUS
·         Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification with shipping and ETA information.
·         We make every effort to get your order to you as soon as possible.
·         If there is a problem with your order such as a back order or discontinued product you will receive an email indicating the issues and options. Any item that is backordered/out-of-stock will be shipped when item arrives (at no additional shipping cost to       the customer).

CANCELLING AN ORDER 
You may cancel your order and receive a full refund if  your order has not been processed yet.  Typically, most orders are processed the same day they are received. Our customer service representatives can inform you of the status of your order and advise you whether or not the order can be cancelled for a full refund. Once an item is processed for shipping, the terms of our RETURN POLICY will take effect.
 
PRODUCT, PRICE, DESCRIPTION AND COLOR POLICY 
While we take measures to ensure that our web site reflects accurate product information and pricing, sometimes an error can appear on the site. We are not responsible for misrepresentations or errors found on the site. Additionally, colours often vary depending on monitor settings and screen resolution,  and may not always display accurately on your screen.
 
SHIPPING POLICY
SHIPPING FEES
Our shipping schedule is calculated on the actual weight of your shipment and the delivery method. Small Orders are shipped via Canada Post. Larger quantities and items are shipped by freight carrier.
                1. ITEMS SHIPPED VIA FREIGHT CARRIER     
 All freight orders are packaged in individual boxes, placed on a pallet, wrapped and delivered to the curb side in front of the residence of delivery. For insurance purposes the delivery driver cannot bring any items into the garage and/or house. 
 The shipping staff will contact you in advance to schedule delivery.
 Delivery times might vary. It will depend on your destination and time of the year. We make every effort to get your shipment to you as soon as possible, however we use outside carriers and we have to depend on them.  It is not the responsibility of The Kitchen Depot for any inconvenience that may have been caused by the shipping carrier due to delivery times.
Shipping charges cover one delivery attempt. Customer must notify us if the property is not accessible for delivery, so we can reschedule it. The Kitchen Depot cannot be held responsible to unsuccessful delivery attempt due to customer circumstances. Additional shipping charges and handling fees will be the responsibility of the customer. 
A lift gate is included for residential deliveries at no additional charge.
In the presence of the delivery driver, inspect your package and contents for damages. If there is any damage, you must indicate such on the bill of landing. When you sign the bill of landing and do not note any damage, the merchandise becomes your property.
  Please do not reject damaged items, or orders that come incomplete.  Rejected items might get lost and its harder to track them. If such as situation arise we will work with you and the carrier to get the full order to you even if it has to take more than one trip. You will only be charged once.
The Kitchen Depot currently offers shipping in Canada only, with the exception of a few limited geographic areas within Canada
                    2. ITEM SHIPPED VIA CANADA POST
 If there is any damage, you have 3 days to contact us to report the damage; otherwise you agree that the merchandise is your property.
·         Once the order is places,  and processed we will provide you with a tracking number.
 
                    3. SHOWROOM DELIVERY
 If an order has been placed for assembled cabinets, we will only ship it to our showroom. The customer than will be responsible for picking it up, unless otherwise noted.  After receiving the order, we will notify the customer that the order is ready for pickup.  We can only store customers order for up to 5 days. After that it will be subject to storage fees of $50/day and after 30 days we can cancel the order and charge 40% restocking fees.

 
CLAIMS
      The customer should inspect all items and file a claim if necessary within 72 hours. In case of the item being damaged or having missing parts please do not assemble it or install it. 
          We cannot accept assembled and installed cabinets, as well as cabinets that have holes drilled for hardware. The same rules apply between the manufacturers and us, therefore we are only able to accept what they accept from us.        
          To file a claim for damage or shortage, please send an email within 72 hours of receipt of delivery.  We will provide a claim report form that will have to be send back to us with attached picture of the damage. 
        Please make sure to inspect all the items before submitting a claim, to include all the items, which will make the claim process faster. Expedited shipping service is not available for replacements and/or parts; however, we will work with you and provide all the information available for your convenience. 
  . All damaged items are to be shipped back for claims unless noted. Shipping is the responsibility of the customer


3D DESIGN
 
BASIC LAYOUT
Each client will be provided with a quote that includes 3D rendering of the space.
This service is absolutely FREE
 
DETAILED DRAWING
For a detailed drawing with measurements we will initially charge $100 fee.
and that fee will be applied towards your purchase of cabinets, so this service will also be FREE to our clients.
That includes: 3D visualization, elevations and floor plan with measurements of one area that we are working on.  No other areas will be included (such as laundry, media rooms, bathrooms etc) unless noted in writing between designer and a client. Design times vary and will depend on the difficultly of the design and peak times of the year. Please call our office to speak with a designer at 1-888-959-1679
 
MEASURING
 
The Kitchen Depot will design your space based on your measurements, your contractors’ measurements or architectural plan. The Kitchen Depot cannot not be held responsible for any mistake or wrong order that will occur due to wrong measurements. It is responsibility of the client to make sure that the measurements given to our designer are accurate. We recommend using a professional contractor for measuring/installation and assembly of the cabinets to avoid any voiding of warranties and delays in the process.
 The Kitchen Depot will provide a measuring service only when our contractor will be hired for the installation.
 
 
INSTALLATION
 
We offer installation services of our cabinetry. We cannot do any plumbing or electrical work.
Once the cabinets are ordered, we can schedule time to start the installation.
The installation time will depend on the project scope, amount of cabinets, and difficulty of the project. 
 The customer will be required to sign an installation contract and deposit for installation will be charged.
 
 
ASSEMBLY
The RTA (Ready-To-Assemble) wood cabinets come in a flat box, not assembled.
All the necessary hardware is included in the package, but you will need professional tools to assemble it. It is recommended to use a professional kitchen installer to do the job.
 
The Kitchen Depot can assemble your cabinets, and have you pick them up from our showroom.
Assembled products are subject to local pickup or local delivery only.
